August 7 - 14, 2010: Rosen Method Bodywork Summer Intensive
9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Tuition $950 ($900 if registered by July 23).
An in-depth exploration and training in
Rosen Method bodywork with senior teacher Bill Samsel and new co-teacher Kate O'Shea. The intensive is one component of a complete
training program in Rosen Method bodywork. Open to both career-track students and those who are interested in personal growth.
For first-time participants, an application process is required for registration.
September 25 - 26 Rosen Method Open House & Introductory Workshop
Sept. 25, 1 - 5:15 pm.
Open House is an opportunity for newcomers to talk to practitioners and students and to see videos of Marion Rosen. Drop in for a free movement class at 3 p.m. Reserve a time for a Rosen session by calling the office at (510) 845-6606. Sessions are $25 and must be paid in advance to hold a space.
Sept. 26, 10 am - 5 pm.
Tuition $90.
Join Rosen teachers for an experiential introduction to Rosen Method. Explore the body-mind link through lectures, demonstrations, movement and hands-on work. All are welcome.
October 5 Weekly Rosen Method Movement Teacher Training Begins
Tuesday Evenings through May 2011, 5 pm - 9:30 pm.
Tuition: $2700.
This weekly training course offers participants the opportunity to explore and learn new movement patterns. The teachers combine theory with demonstrations and practice teaching in a safe, supportive learning environment.
October 6 Weekly Rosen Method Bodywork Training Begins
Wednesday Evenings through May 2010, 4 - 9:30 pm and one weekend.
Tuition $2700.
This course will use the power of touch, words and awareness to discover the body's wisdom. Open to participants interested in expanding their
self-awareness and increasing their knowledge of the body-mind connection for professional development.
